Mid-Century Danish Modern Rosewood Nesting Tables, Set of Three, Denmark, c. 1960s
Elegant set of three vintage Danish Modern nesting tables, crafted in richly figured rosewood and dating to approximately the 1960s. The set features three graduated rectangular tables designed to slide neatly beneath one another when not in use.
Each table displays the warm reddish-brown tones and distinctive natural grain associated with rosewood, complemented by softly rounded tabletop edges, slender tapered legs and simple horizontal stretchers. The restrained construction and lightweight proportions are characteristic of Scandinavian Modern furniture of the period.
The tables can be displayed together as a compact nesting set or separated and used individually as side, occasional or drinks tables. A versatile and beautifully proportioned example of Danish mid-century design.
