Vintage LC4 Style Black Leather & Chrome Chaise Lounge, circa 1970s

A striking vintage chaise lounge inspired by the iconic LC4 design originally conceived by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand.

63" L × 19.7" W × 31.5" H, with a seat height around 15".

The chaise features a sculptural curved tubular metal frame with a polished chrome finish, supported by a contrasting black base. The original-style black leather upholstery follows the ergonomic contours of the frame and is complemented by a cylindrical black leather headrest.

The leather displays a beautiful aged patina with visible creasing, wrinkles and wear consistent with decades of use, giving the piece considerably more character than a newly manufactured reproduction. The chrome and base also exhibit appropriate vintage wear.

An exceptionally sculptural piece that works equally well as functional seating or as a statement object in a Mid-Century Modern, Bauhaus, modernist or contemporary interior.
